The vintage 2008 Verdelho is made using only free run juice, and minimal skin contact prior to ferment. This has created a delightfully fresh delicate wine displaying lifted tropical fruit aromas complemented by subtle pear flavours giving the wine mid palate complexity and great balance. Its lingering finish is enhanced by a touch of citrus that will please most palates. Verdelho has established itself as the white wine grape perfect for the cool micro-climate of Langhorne Creek, having been grown in the area for over 100 years. Serve slightly chilled... a great food wine.
